About SquaredUp

SquaredUp helps companies manage critical IT infrastructure and applications. The company is trusted by the world’s best IT teams to ensure the reliability of their technology because when IT is down, the business is down.

Before ScaleXP

✖ SquaredUp used a different software to consolidate their Xero UK & USA accounting data. The financial consolidation worked well but inter-company balances were tricky to understand because it was not possible to click into the detail.

✖ Data from Salesforce could not be joined to Xero, making it tedious to calculate metrics, such as active customers, upgrades and downgrades. Calculating MRR and ARR alone required half a day each month.

✖ The SquaredUp team spent days each month exporting data to spreadsheets and reconciling, rather than providing analysis or insights.

After ScaleXP

ScaleXP provides the finance and commercial teams with the data that they need in a few simple clicks.

✔ SaaS metrics – Critical SAAS KPIs including MRR (monthly recurring revenue), ARR, upsells, downgrades, net dollar retention are fully automated by ScaleXP.

✔ Easy to customise – All metric definitions can be customised using data from both the accounting and CRM systems, creating one of the most powerful SaaS dashboards on the market.

✔ Financial consolidation – ScaleXP consolidates both the financial and operational KPIs for SquaredUp. Intercompany balances net off in a way which is intuitive, providing instant drill down to specific general ledger accounts. The transparency of the system has allowed SquaredUp to catch issues early.

All data, including KPIs, is available at the parent company or subsidiary level, in a few simple clicks.
